Three times a week, for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, my students will step away from their desks to learn the practice and importance of "Mindfulness". Students will be asked to reflect on their thoughts and feelings in hopes to clear their mind. This will enhance their classroom environment, learning experiences, and all around school day. Teaching students how to understand, deal and cope with their emotions is extremely important. Introducing them to techniques in an exciting way that is different from the redundant seat work they are asked to accomplish day after day will set an everlasting impression.

About my class
