As research shows, students benefit from all aspects of movability within the classroom. Having these items, such as high stools, lap desks, floor cushions, and wobble stools, will allow my students to pick a seat during certain work times that best fit their learning needs. With a wide variety of objects/work areas, my students will be able to find something that works specifically for their preference. All students' needs are unique and different which is why I want to incorporate flexible seating within my classroom. Students will be able to move and choose locations daily which allows them to find what will work best for them during that learning task. I have seen flexible seating as a huge success within other classrooms in my building and I want the best for my students!
