These materials are critical for my students' success in the fifth grade. This year is my students' last year in elementary school before they graduate to middle school. I want to ensure that they have a passion for education and a commitment to learning prior to the beginning of their secondary education. These Chromebooks will not only facilitate my students' learning, but will also get them ready for the next part of their education. In addition to my students' academic preparation for middle school and high school, I am focusing heavily on my students' social and emotional development this school year. This can mean a morning greeting on the whiteboard easel, a note from the teacher in our interactive journals, or a community circle where we discuss our emotions about a text. Any contribution to our classroom and our goals is greatly appreciated.
