My students need to keep up with the demands of education in order to give themselves a chance at a better future. Improving their literacy is one way we can help them with that. With this project, students will have the opportunity to read a variety of high interest books that will help them learn about new perspectives on life, help them discover who they are, and help them build the literacy skills necessary to be successful in their futures. Having access to these great books is the most important first step to achieving this goal. They will use these books to think deeply, and connect with those around them by deepening their discussions with their classmates.

About my class
