After 5 years as a 3rd grade teacher, I am making the move to 1st grade this year. I am excited for an amazing school year! The items I requested will help build up my classroom with materials that will not only benefit my students this school year, but for years to come. Magnetic word wall words, place value charts and more will be great tools in the classroom. These allow content to stay displayed for students to reference. These tools are created to be reused, so they can work in my classroom for several years! The primary writing journals will also allow my students to expand their writing knowledge. These journals will provide daily writing experiences for my students in a more age appropriate way than simple notebook paper. I hope that these journals will make writing fun for students.
