During the beginning of the new year last year it was barely tolerable to work inside the classroom with no A.C. During the middle periods of the day sometimes we had to go outside where it was cooler. The attitude of the kids would definitely change towards a more positive one. Having air conditioner in the beginning of the year would set up a foundation of positiveness among my students. It will allow them to focus on the content of the class instead of the temperature. They would not have to worry about stepping outside to get some air, or water every ten minutes.
