The fine motor skills required when using scissors can hinder the enjoyment of art for many of our students. I hope to expand our collection of scissors that have different levels of adaptations for my art classes, encouraging progression to typical scissors. By contributing to this project, you will empower our students to create beautiful artwork with much less frustration and greater independence. Our young artists will determine the adapted scissors best suited for their creative needs, and utilize them in their art making. Developing small muscles by using scissors will build confidence and increase enjoyment in the art experience.

About my class
