The students on my caseload rely heavily on visuals especially for those who are non-verbal. Communication boards, adaptive books, and picture cards are used throughout speech and language sessions to target my students goals. Materials such as velcro dots, binder rings, and organizational storage would be a help in order to create these activities needed. These supplies will help me to provide motivating and fun activities for my students. My students learn best from visual resources and these materials will allow me to create adaptive books as well as visual supports for my therapy room. Adapted books are used in speech therapy to target my students speech and language goals. Velcro dots, binder rings, and storage for organization will allow me to keep these materials for future students.
