In this technological age, students are becoming great thinkers and questioners. Things in our world are happening that these students have never experienced. They are questioning why? This project will allow students to think about something that has recently happened in our community with the measles outbreak. Students can apply what they already know and what they will learn to understand such an occurrence, why it happened, how to stop the spread of it and how to prevent it. It is the hope that projects like this will spark interest in students to seek professions in STEM or Medical fields that allow them to help people and make this world a great place.
