The items in my project, the tables and Global Challenges Project-Based STEM kit, will help my scholars learn the social and problem-solving skills they will need to make a positive change on their future and the future of the planet. The tables will give my scholars the opportunity to practice the social skills necessary for future success in both their personal and profession lives. By working at their tables, the students will be forced to communicate and cooperate in order to complete their projects. As a result, they will learn how to resolve conflicts in their personal and professional lives. The Global Challenges Project-Based STEM kit will help my students better understand the problems they will be facing as they grow older and provide them the opportunity to think critically about ways of solving those problems. The kit contains real world problems such as "oil spills," "water shortages" and "energy crisis". These are issues that are major global issues that continue to exist, and perhaps, through studying them and understanding them now, my scholars might possibly be able to solve these global problems in the future.
