Working with my students to teach them to recognize what types of adaptations help prepare them for learning to the best of their ability is something that I strive for when working with them. Wobble chairs, balls, and fidgets allow my students to move their body as they see fit while learning.  The other materials will help them learn how to regulate their emotions so they can be successful in my classroom. Additionally, this will allow me to have these materials available in their general education setting, allowing my students to reach their full potential no matter where their learning takes place. Allowing choice on what type of chair to sit on or how to move their hands while learning permits my students to function to the best of their ability in the classroom.
