The 3D pens will allow students to take a well thought out plan and bring it to life. The classroom leaves kids with a lot of abstract thinking or futuristic thinking. I want to give them the chance to make their ideas concrete. While beginning with the end in mind, students will be able to work together (or individually) to follow through on a plan or idea. This could be very basic as to creating a character from a story, or higher up as to solving a problem in our world. One idea that comes to mind is pollution, create a device that will help reduce the amount of pollution on our earth. The best part of this project is that it applies to all students. Artist, scientist, math minded, engineers, kids that love technology, the list goes on. How excited about a topic would you be if you knew you were able to live out your idea in the end?
