My students will benefit from these materials by increasing literacy through a hands-on and technology based approach. Many of my learners are able to better understand their world when they learn through experiences. The items in my project that will increase hands-on learning include the large easel paper and flash cards. The color printer will help my students see their work instantly. My students are accustomed to using Chromebooks in class, but are not typically able to see the work that they create on paper. The printer will allow them to print the charts, graphs, maps, etc that my students create and help view the documents in hand. The Social Studies activity books will help increase literacy for all of my students, especially my ESL and Special Education population. Being able to read and write in the classroom will assist those students excel throughout high school and become college ready.
