My students are in a self-contained special education class. They have 3 adults that work with them (myself as the classroom teacher and 2 teaching assistants). The students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and have varying levels of ability. All of the students in my class struggle with attention issues and learning concepts. They are all active and energetic kiddos that love to be moving. Instead of penalizing them for being active I am hoping to embrace it and allow them to move more safely through the use of balance balls.
