I teach 2nd grade at a Title I school. Resources are very limited as this is my first year in this grade level. My students come to me on a wide range of educational levels. These items will allow me to engage my students in an active and engaging environment. I plan on integrating technology into my classroom to allow my students the best education possible. The math and reading manipulatives will be used for stations and centers. I have also included many STEM activities for hands on learning as well as to help my struggling special needs learners in their engagement. Some of my students struggle with special needs as well as attention difficulties and that's where the different seating options, pillows, and fidget toys come in to play. All of these items have a special purpose at varying times during the day to assist my students to be able to stay engaged or calm down if they are feeling overwhelmed.
