My dynamic students are bright and promising. However, they often get distracted by uncomfortable chairs and having to sit on the floor during guided reading time. Because of various learning differences, some of my students do better when standing, bouncing, or having more space to express themselves. Having the flexible seating options will provide my students with the tools necessary to stop focusing on their comfort, and start focusing on their concentration. All too often I hear, "Ms. Holmes, this chair is hurting my back" or see students bouncing their legs or tapping their pencils while they work. Additionally, my scholars often have to sit on the floor during independent working times. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
