Every day of the week is planned to add consistency to their lives. Mondays and Wednesdays: Tutorials! We work in groups on improving understanding of work from our most challenging classes. Tuesdays: We work on building academic skills such as reading rigorous texts and timed writing. This year we will also start building our test taking skills as the SAT will be happening soon for most of the class. Thursdays: we work on becoming physically stronger and building our mental toughness in the weight room. Fridays: we check our binders for organization. We also build our mentality through research of sports psychology subjects, such as visualization and positive self-talk. Or we ready from our class set of Jocko Willink's book Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual.
