I am asking for a variety of resources for my science lab including owl pellets, safety goggles, and paper plates. These items will give my students the necessary tools for the fun and safe science environment they deserve. Their love for science is beyond measure, but without the proper equipment there isn’t much we can accomplish in the lab. My students favorite part of science is the hands on experiments. Not only do my lessons promote team building and collaboration, they also teach students individuality. Science teaches them about the world around them, as well as teaching them the art of problem solving. Students will work both individually and in groups to problem solve scientific questions. These activities will support their problem solving growth through trial and error, error analysis, and the ability to start over. Science gives kids a fun way to learn, make mistakes as part of the process, and still gives them the desire to try again. Students will gain independence, confidence, and collaborative skills while working through Science Labs
