Chromebooks will give my students learning opportunities that I cannot provide with textbooks. Knowledge is power. Knowledge is what students use to view their world and to make decisions. As a teacher, I want to provide them with the best that I can! On Chromebooks, I will be able to provide my students with links to websites that will provide unique learning experiences and practice. Assessment websites, such as Edulastic, will provide immediate assessment feedback. Students will also be able to create presentations and share them with the class. I look forward to setting up Google Classroom with the new Chromebooks. Students will be able to type their written work using Google Docs and submit it to me. I will be able to view their work in progress and write comments in a two-way conversation with them. The possibilities are endless and exciting!
