With these flexible seating options, students will be able to complete independent work in an environment that allows them to be comfortable and meet their developmental need to move! Think about it - when you read and write do you like to be confined to one place all day? Currently, I have been slowly phasing in choice in where students work. I have noticed that students are more engaged, less distracted, and more focused on learning when they are given movement and choice in seating. The wobble stools will make for more choices in small group work and the floor chairs will be a comfy place for my students to read!
