Every child must have a small group guided reading lesson each day. Being able to have books on their level, will allow them to not only receive guided reading with their general education teacher, but also with me. I will use these books to meet with my small groups each day for a minimum of 20 minutes. We will preview the chapter, make predictions, read aloud as a group, read to ourselves, have group discussion and dialog, and answer questions in their reading journal to specific questions that were given.
