Imaginative play is a very important part of Kindergarten. The children in my Kindergarten class love the block center. They learn to share and work cooperatively to build and create. The current play people that I have are old and broken. This set is so diverse and will work perfectly in my inner-city​ classroom. What fun it will be for them to play with a family that looks just like they do. I absolutely love observing my students In the block center. I learn so much about them by listening to their conversations with their peers about what they are building. I find that children don’t have blocks at home anymore. It quickly becomes a new favorite! They create cities using bridges and roads. They create schools with playgrounds. The possibilities are endless. I have some flexible seating in my classroom. I find that all types of students benefit from it. I’m so excited to add these seats to our choices.
