We currently have an old science curriculum that lacks up-to-date data and information as it pertains to NGSS. This will help kick off science observations based on current standards and deepen student discussions. I’d like to use these books to provide phenomenon and real life applicable concerns to engage the students’ in units tied to these books topics. This will help integrate the current supplemental material we have. These students thrive best with conversations that push them to critique and develop their claims based on evidence allowing them to have scientific discourse and further develop citizenship.
