Kindergarten students are being challenged more and more these days! The books included in this project facilitate discussion using age appropriate questioning and vocabulary. Activities related to these books encourage students to dig deeper into the text and utilize reading strategies for increased comprehension. The book titles in this collection will be sure to expose my kinders to good literature and enhance their speaking, listening and writing skills. Students will be able to make real-life connections to the stories and build life skills along the way. Comparisons to other texts with the same topic or theme will be made and projects will be crafted to extend student learning. My ultimate goal is to create students who love to read and life long learners!
