Studies show that students learn best when learning is ACTIVE! When we provide hands-on learning activities, students are engaged and are involved in their learning. Using all senses helps the brain create pathways that makes it easier and quicker to retain information. I chose Magna Tiles, brick-building kits, and exploring STEM activities to engage my students in active learning! Instead of traditional paper-pencil morning work, I want to offer hands-on morning activities. These activities will promote collaboration, improve creativity, critical thinking, perseverance, and problem solving skills as well as increase self-esteem. I am excited for this project. Thanks for helping us lift off!
