Almost all of my students have challenges relating to attention and focus and the stimulation of their environment. I would like to provide them with flexible seating options in colors that are soothing and conducive to learning. They will learn much more if they are not distracted by their surroundings. When students' physical needs are met and they feel comfortable, they will learn much more effectively. Flexible seating allows students to move without being distracting to others. Light covers for florescent lighting has shown to help students with ADD/ADHD as well as minimizing eye strain, which is very important in a classroom environment.
