As stated on Code.org, “Every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science.” Our K-4 students have been utilizing code.org. They have participated in unplugged code activities. Students are ready for new code challenges. Dash and Dot robots will allow students hands-on activities. This will bring lessons to life. They will have the ability to visualize the code, opportunity to problem solve, and collaborate with a team. All students will be coding with Dash and Dot, therefore having accessories and challenge cards will provide a basic level and allow them to progress to more advanced “Coding Around with a Robot Named Dash.” I can’t wait to see them inspired and creating their own ideas of what they can do with these robots. All my students would greatly benefit from executing their code through technology in action. Please help these young minds exceed in order to succeed! Thank you.
