Tile floors can get very cold and aren't very comfy. The students in my classroom spend a majority of their time on the floor. They would love to have a nice, warm, comfortable place to sit in the classroom. A warm, quality carpet will be welcoming and promote learning in the classroom for my students. I chose this carpet for my students because it will help with seating and will promote learning colors, letters, and sounds. My students will love the colorful squares! It will give each of them their own personal space to sit in. My students spend a lot of time in the floor and they would greatly appreciate a warm and welcoming place to sit!
