Our literacy lessons will follow the framework outlined in the Daily 5 book. This framework requires each student to have his or her own book bin in which he or she selects "good fit" books that are interesting and appropriate. I need help purchasing 24 book bins for my students so that they can participate in the Daily 5 activities successfully! I also want to create a warm, comfortable, inviting classroom environment. Therefore, I need help purchasing tape to divide my whiteboard into easy-to-read sections, and a lamp to help create an inviting atmosphere. Lastly, I would love for each of my students to receive a subscription to Scholastic News Magazine. This magazine offers students a chance to interact with nonfiction text in a meaningful context. Plus, each magazine serves as an excellent jumping-off point for educational conversations!
