The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work while having classroom conversation with their classmates. What becomes a problem is the fact that the markers never seem to last from frequent use. The copy paper will be used for enrichment/homework sheets. The pencils/notebooks will be used to complete daily classwork. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts for my students to help reinforce previous skills taught throughout the school year. Please help me provide my students with the tools needed to succeed on a daily basis.
