The plastic bins will be a great addition to my classroom so that the students will have a sturdy place to put their books in for reading. It will help them be more excited about reading when they have their own colorful storage box to keep all their books. A lot of the books I chose vary in genres and styles, which will help boost my classroom library so that there are a variety of books to choose from, ranging from graphic novels to fiction to nonfiction and award winners. Having a varied classroom library will help students be exposed to literature that they may not get elsewhere. It may be overwhelming to choose what books they want to read when they go into a public library; and at home, they may not have a big enough selection to choose from. In the classroom, books selected just for their age level and they will also have help from me to choose the perfect one!
