Reading is important to everything we do- from being inspired to just escaping into another world. But it’s hard to compete with technology. My plan is to surround my students with books that will always be at their fingertips. I want the books to spark conversation, imagination, and the desire to seek out more reading on their own. Last year my students struggled to get on board with reading. I want to build my classroom library so that there is always something right in front of them to spark that desire to read. There is a right book for every person and I want to help students find their perfect match.
