Students deserve to be comfortable when learning! As a literacy teacher, a lot of reading takes place within our classroom. If students are able to be comfortable while learning, I believe that it will allow them to be more engaged as well as excited about their learning process. I believe that students feel empowered by having freedom of choice and control over their environment. With flexible seating, students are able to choose where they work and with whom. They are also afforded the opportunity to change their location and position, frequently. Classrooms that have the traditional seating arrangement tends to isolate students from one another.

About my class
