Our special education department and interventionist use the reading program called Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy Interventions (LLI). What is Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy Interventions (LLI)? "The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Interventionis a powerful, short-term intervention, that provides daily, intensive, small-group instruction, which supplements classroom literacy teaching. LLI turns struggling readers into successful readers with engaging leveled books and fast-paced, systematically designed lessons." (https://www.fountasandpinnell.com/lli/) We need iPads to use as reading assessment collections, when using the iPad, the data will be automatically graphed for us. That way we will be able to provide quicker interventions to the students, and see the area of struggle the student has.
