While we do have access to technology in my classroom, it is not always available consistently for us to use on a regular basis. With us being a STEAM School of Choice, I am eager to bring more technology to my students. We have many resources available to enhance our students' learning; however, we are lacking the necessary computers to be able to use most of them. My students need to be able to use IXL, which is a wonderful program that aligns to our state standards for Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students will also be able to practice their keyboarding skills as they demonstrate their learning in new ways by creating presentations and documents. My main goal is, and always will be, to help extend my students' learning and experiences in any way I can. I know that having these Chromebooks will provide a large boost toward that goal.
