The Lego WeDo sets will be used in center rotations allowing small groups to access the technology and building sets. Students will work in teams of (2) to research, build, and code the robots. They will learn how to effectively communicate and work as a team to achieve their project goals. LEGO WeDO kits will inspire creativity, ingenuity, and problem solving skills. The WeDo set is the perfect program to teach students the basic building blocks of coding because it combines computational thinking with hands on building in a fun and engaging way. Students will be able to identify weaknesses in their model or code and figure out solutions to non-routine problems. They can also choose to create their own projects and coding programs for their classmates to try.
