Math journals are the best classroom resource I have ever used. They help students with organization, note taking, studying, accountability, and overall learning. These journals pose as a resource for my students everyday in my classroom. They are filled with graphic organizers, tips and tricks, math problems, vocabulary, and and entire years worth of learning! I have many students who have continued to use these journals even years after being in my classroom. Every day when a student walks into my class, they grab their journal first. They use it to complete their daily warm-up, hold their homework log, and then they fill it with graphic organizers that help them learn new content in a more structured way. They refer back to their journals when working through class work, group work, homework, warm-ups, projects, etc.
