My students need flexible chairs that accommodate their squirming bodies and growing brains. Every day we read for forty-five minutes to stretch our brains and grow our stamina. How cool would it be if they could park on a comfortable bean bag to read? They would be more excited about that reading time because they're not just sitting on the floor or in those plastic chairs. On the stools, they can rock, they can wiggle and they can move. I have found that students who can move as they learn, can retain so much more information than those who are forced to sit still.

About my class
