Phonics is a critical learning component in Kindergarten. The first thing we focus on is learning letters and letter sounds. Some of my students have never been in a school setting before and have never even been introduced to the alphabet. They have a difficult time learning and writing their alphabet, so I believe the alphabet writing station will be very helpful! It provides students with a visual and a hands on activity with the magic writing board. The independent work bundle will be excellent to use for the student/s who just needs their own space! It's perfect for the classroom because I can set it up anywhere and it doesn't take up a lot of space. The comfortable reading chairs will go perfect in my classroom reading corner that we use during our reading stations each day. Right now my reading corner only has pillows for my students to sit on. The chairs will give the students their own seat that is comfortable for them to sit on and focus on their independent reading skills.
