These books go along with a reading program I have purchased that is multi-sensory. This program can used year after year. Each month teaches new skills. Some of the skills are decoding strategies, vocabulary strategies, retelling stories, making inferences, and making connections with this stories read. Each week a new book is read and has activities for the students to complete each day including anchor charts, comprehension questions, and a quiz and craft on Friday. With this program, students are increasing their vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, working together with their classmates, using a deeper level of thinking, and learning while having fun!
