Students learn best when they are comfortable and have the support of their peers and teachers. Our classrooms are second homes to our students, oftentimes providing the safety and security they lack at home. It's important to me that my students are excited to come to my ELA class because they will know they are valued and appreciated. I like to change the look of my classroom often, especially by putting up student work. I also have students help me decorate for holidays and to put up posters and reminders related to our curriculum.

About my class
