Hi there! Thank you for stopping to look at the great work we are doing here. I'm a medium experienced teacher right now, and I've taught at a lot of different places. Teaching in an urban setting is the biggest challenge of my career, but I love it! These kids are good kids, they need our help. It is true that it takes a village to raise a child. Too many of my students feel like the village has given up on them. Together we all can change that one kid at a time. A man was walking down the beach and he saw a small boy throwing starfish into the ocean. He looked and saw the beach was lined for miles in both directions with starfish. He walked up to the boy and asked him, "Why are you doing that, you can't possible make any difference." To which the boy replied, as he threw another, "It made a difference to that one." Help me help the starfish.
