These materials will help me better present my curriculum to my students and ensure that they have the same opportunities afforded to other students in schools with more funding. Our school lacks the materials and funding and I have personally spent $900 this summer getting ready for these classes, but I still need equipment and materials necessary to conduct labs and demos. My students are bright and eager to learn. I want to provide them the best. I will be teaching honor chemistry, biology and AP biology, while mentoring my mentee in during her second year of teaching. She will be teaching physical science, earth and anatomy and physiology. Together we are trying to increase the rigid, inquiry and hands-on lab experiences for our students.
