By funding this project, the students will have a more variety of books within our library to choose from; this will ultimately help them learn more about their own reading interests. My ultimate goal is make sure I am reaching all the students’ interests, and this is step that needs to be taken. Not only will these books build our classroom library, it will also give the students a variety of worlds to get lost in and learn from. Reading is at the basis of all learning. Reading teaches empathy, curiosity, and imagination. If I can foster their love for learning this year, I know they will be able to do all the incredible things they want to after they leave my classroom.
