My class can share the Amazon Fire Smart Tablets to download programs for students that speak English as a Second Language, to read stories, do experiments, use non traditional software to promote reading, and play educational games. My class can also use the devices to collaborate on Science projects with students at other schools in different parts of the world. In second grade our Science curriculum is mostly based on the environment. They can do work within different environments. With this technology my students can possibly learn first hand about the different experiences and backgrounds of students that attend other schools.
