These novels will be used to create a unit using more contemporary selections. They will benefit my students on the AP national exam, but they will also be more interesting than some classics from the canon of literature. I have incorporated more novels to teach the growing diversity in my classes, and I hope to help more students enjoy reading great literature in the process. Increased test scores and creating a lifelong pleasure is a twofer! Please consider helping us build this classroom library that will benefit kids for years to come!
