The Outbreak Alert: Engineering a Pandemic Response kit will help make a difference in my students' learning because they will have a hands-on activity to use during the engineering lesson. Most of the students have some type of technology and this will help broaden their understanding of how engineering and technology work hand in hand. The activity will provide the student with a student-centered learning activity, so they are able to show what they know and are capable of doing. It will help ensure that the NGSS science standards that students will need to know in order to help them achieve the science/engineering learning outcomes in the lessons.
