These materials will give my students grade level books for guided and partner reading. The opportunity to apply reading skills to different styles of books will enable them to grow as learners. Guided reading books help reach students exactly where they are in their ability and help them improve on a daily basis. The nonfiction and fiction paired books will help improve their comprehension with different styles of writing; and will give them a stronger base for reading informational texts. The broad range of topics will be able to reach every student in my class and encourage their love of reading.
