I am moving from 24 years of teaching P.E. and coaching to a classroom with literally no supplies. I know that moving and teaching requires funds from my own pocket. I am currently seeking financial help with providing my 6th graders with flexible seating, (tables, stools, and chairs). I feel students will take pride in their surroundings and therefore a positive self-esteem forms. If one feels good , then learning is fun and fruitful. Flexible seating allows students a choice and with whom they want to work with in this unique non traditional classroom. The learning space will be student-centered and their place to escape to learn.
