The books I'm requesting will offer a variety of topics and titles to choose from. Part of my job as a reading recovery teacher is choosing the right book for each student that I work with. I believe it's powerful to find books that speak to a child's specific interests. The additional books would be incredibly helpful in differentiating instruction for each student I work with. I have no doubt that increasing our reading recovery library will positively impact my students on their journey to become successful and independent readers and writers!
